Today was saturday so you both sleep until 10. When you finally got up it was time to prepare for barbecue.
At 1:30pm neighbours started to gather. Today as always were Scheers, Seldins and Bromleys families en banc, except the Scheers kids. Roger said something about birthday and courses in relation with their absence, but you didn't really listen because you tinkered with deckchairs.
Everything was the same as always on these traditional barbecues. Chris Bromley as always tried to say compliment to your wife but said some foolish things. Everyone laughed. So he became irritated and his wife was angry because he made court to another woman in front of everyone near her.
And then everything went on the rampage. At first he said to his son Shaun something rude, after laughed at him in front of everyone. And because Shaun had a thing for your wife too seeing as she laughed at him was too much and he left. Poor kid. All that made Ellen Bromley to feel herself even worse - all her family were an inadequate and all it was because of Janine, whom Ellen was jealous for a long time.
When you were seeking for another beer box you suddenly stumbled on Shaun in garage. Looked like he was crying but he tried not to show it to you.
"Look, Shaun," you said, "you can play a tough guy or you can go upstairs to my bathroom and make it look like nothing happened." And you returned to your search.
Shaun mumbled something like "thanks" and left you.
