Early life

Qin was born in Utashinai, Hokkaidō, Japan during a holiday trip to both Chinese parents. She is the youngest child of Qin Song Ruo (Simplified Chinese: 秦宋若) and Xia Min Yao (Simplified Chinese: 夏闵杳). Qin's paternal grandfather have noted to be a Zainichi Korean under the name of Yoshida Jun (Katakana: 吉田 潤) with the official birth name Park Beom (Hanja: 朴范) but her grandmother is a Chinese immigrant named Qin Ke (Simplified Chinese: 秦牁) and due to their move to China in the late 60's, all of the family decendants have since been officially registered as full Chinese citizens.

In 2003, when Qin was nine years old, the family relocated to Marsden Bay, New Zealand, but two years later, the family migrated to Yangzhou, China for her father's business relocation. However just a year later, Qin followed her elder brother Qin Mi Yin (Simplified Chinese: 秦覓犾) to Darwin, Australia on his university scholarship. Upon graduating high school, Qin received an immediate contract with a new line media production company after Chinese winning author Guo Jing Min came upon her work and moved to Shanghai, China.

She confirmed that there were no back-up copies and will have to "rewrite from scratch" if the works are to see "the light of the day". However she denied it to be a set back as she was "drained from inspiration" and "did not plan to finish those stories anytime soon", believing that it is a sign to start anew.
