Kim Sang Bum (born July 7, 1989) better known by his stage name Kim Beom is a South Korean actor. He decided to pursure a acting career at the age of seventeen and later entered and won the KBS sponsored show Survival Star Audition in 2006. In the same year he received the chance to take part in the MBC drama The Daring Sisters to make his acting debut. Later he became involved in the other MBC drama High Kick! which received positive response and exceptional ratings and helped him establish as a real actor and a official fan base.

In the following years he was featured in the hit movie Death Bell and the romantic-comedy Hellcats. In 2008, he was casted as one of the F4 boys in the KBS drama Boys Over Flowers and went on to become an instant smash hit. With ratings over 30% and gained interntional fans on the way, making his name known throughout the Asia pacific. In 2012 it was announced that he would be making an official debut into China by starring in the film Detective Dee: The Prequel.
