"Haru Day" is a self produced song by Korean rapper singr Jeanie, the final of three tracks taken from her debut mini album Girlfriend. It was released as a promotional single online before her physical mini album release. Her debut and first single to be released was "Sleepless Night" which peaked at #2 across all major charts and later the second single, "Kill (Love You Baby)" which is her most successful critical single to date, peaking at the top across all major charts.
It managed to sell more than 80,000 times on its first day and but did not debut at the peak across all major music charts like the previous single, it reached the top first on Cyworld. The reason behind this is noted to be solo singer Lee Hi releasing the first part of her debut album, titled First Love, all five tracks off the album grabbed the top five positions on all charts. By the end of its first week of release, the single has sold more than 220,000 times and stayed on the top five of the music charts firmly.
