Personality:

Although he rarely gets angry, Karl loves fighting, whether it be investigators, police, random people or even his fellow vamps. As long as it isn't a serious fight, he can usually be found laughing with his opponent over a beer afterwards. He's often friendly and cheerful, enjoys gambling, eating and drinking and women. Is rather impulsive, rarely thinking before doing something. This has gotten him into trouble a few times in the past.

Back Story:

Karl became a vampire in the year 987 AD. A year before he was bitten, he was a member of the crew of Wave Dragon, and he was a Viking. Their last raid didn't go as planned- instead of a peaceful market town, they met a large force of Saxon warriors. Most of the crew were killed, but a few, including Karl, were taken prisoner. They were sold into slavery. Karl was sold to a man representing Aethelflaed, a reclusive Saxon noblewoman. He was taken to meet her and she explained what she was. A chance at eternal life! Karl swore service to her in return for being turned once he'd earned it. After a year, he had done so, and was turned. Aethelflaed was killed by a demon hunting priest in 1243. Karl took revenge by killing him and burning his church. Over the following centuries, he moved around Europe, usually keeping a low profile. During WW2, he was a member of the French resistance in Paris, where he used the catacombs beneath the city as a base. In the 1950s he moved to America, and eventually found a group of fellow vampires- the Lost Boys.
