Grammar notes
- Verbs conjugate independently of subject- subject identified by preceding pronoun or noun, as in English. The ‘I’ pronoun (Do) is often omitted in conversation.
- Verbs have the same form in the present tense as the infinitive.
- Regular verbs form the gerund (‘-ing’ EG doing) by adding ‘-nan’ to the end of the verb, EG Tan would become Tannan. Irregular verbs will be dealt with individually.
- Plurality is indicated by adding -n or -an to the noun.
- Sentence structure: Subject first, then verbs related to the subject, then the object, then verbs related to the object. EG: We (subject) can not understand you (object)would be Ves uch faas ge pajh.
