Intro

Just so everyone knows, this article is a massive work in progress. It ends right now still in 2004. I'm going to try to take it up to the present and will be using the topic created on the forums to supliment my own research/rambling memories. - SaiKar

Oh, and I've essentially given up trying to avoid putting my bias into the article. The section labeled "The Dark Age" pissed me off to no end and caused a ton of trouble for the forum. SaiKar

I'll try to get rid of some bias, if needed, and I will try to add some more light in it.--GaryCXJk 09:58, 19 January 2007 (EST)
Okay, never mind. Somehow this article is too messed up to fix.--GaryCXJk 09:59, 19 January 2007 (EST)
It's not really messed up. It's just very long. <_< SaiKar 10:32, 19 January 2007 (EST)
Dude, you really need a life. And from what I've read about this whole TrollKingdom thing, I really don't like it. It's like, when I'm not around, things get really whack. As if the whole forum's on crack. Ya dig?--GaryCXJk 10:37, 19 January 2007 (EST)
I like typing, so what? And I dig about TK. Not some of my better moments. But I didn't see any bright ideas from anyone else on how to stop an infinite influx of Raffles-esque trolls. We did the best we could. SaiKar 10:39, 19 January 2007 (EST)
Actually, I did like how you handle it. It's just that I didn't like the whole "ZOMG IT R TEH FAULT OF TEH MODERATORZ UND SAIKARZ DAT WE R IN TEH SHITZ". They basically put blame on others of their own failure. That is so weak. And you really had the right to leave, seeing as moderators and administrators can't do everything.--GaryCXJk 10:54, 19 January 2007 (EST)

Oh, and I would also like to add this, because it is a great quote which should be used for this article, to conclude the troll article:

Sanctuary Fortress will be closed soon. I'll make it a forum invisible to all but admins and there will be no activity here.

The trolls have been repelled through a combination of good strategy, bad ideas, and dumb luck. Though far too often the real enemies are ourseleves and our inabilities to listen or compromise or admit we're wrong. No no, don't feel guilty. I'm just sayin'.

This forum will shut down officially some time tomorrow. Copy any threads you want for blackmail purposes soon. Some day, maybe, the fotress will arise again.

Maybe just the center part, but it's really a good closure for the article. --GaryCXJk 11:39, 19 January 2007 (EST)

Kay. When I finish the troll article that is next that will go on there. - SaiKar 12:20, 19 January 2007 (EST)

Bonk!

After the troll wars, you've got to mention the bonking thing. It's amazing how such a simple idea of keeping people inline exploded so terribly, with absolutely no help from Kijuki. Wait. Except, he was helping the exploding. But he wasn't helping us. And that's what I meant.Razor 05:14, 21 January 2007 (EST)

In good time, in good time. - SaiKar 06:29, 21 January 2007 (EST)

Oh, don't mind me. I'm just EAGERLY AWAITING THE NEXT INSTALLMENT OF SAI'S FANTASTICALLY WRITTEN UP TEXT. Razor 18:41, 1 February 2007 (EST)

Ok that was pretty awesome. But it lacked a cliffhanger, for the next exciting installment! Whatever that is. ... What did happen next? Razor 02:01, 7 February 2007 (EST)
Kijuki's appointments and increasing moderator / member tensions that finally erupted into the Bonk argument / Kijuki getting banned. I think. I haven't researched it that much yet.

Taking up the Cross

For now, I'm going to split the article up. It's up to other users to fix those sections so that they appear coherent, though I'll do the best I can (for now). Admin 23:32, 5 March 2007 (EST)
