The Real Rubyrulez Episode #1
The first TRR episode. Ruby goes shopping for groceries. He runs into an old friend as he purchases a ton of junk food, and they go on a binge.

{Cut to a scene of Rubyrulez asleep and snoring. The phone rings.}
RUBYRULEZ: Oh, the phone!
{The phone rings again, Rubyrulez starts to walk off screen. The scene cuts to the phone on the wall. It rings again.}
RUBYRULEZ: I'm coming, I'm coming!
{Rubyrulez appears on screen. The phone rings once more, he picks it up.}
RUBYRULEZ: Yeah, you got Ruby!
VOICE: Do you like ham?
RUBYRULEZ: I'm sory, ham?
{Canned Laughter}
{There is now a busy signal on the other end. Rubyrulez gets angry}
{Canned Laughter}
RUBYRULEZ: He hung up!
{Cut to Rubyrulez, looking out the window at his friend, Munchy.}
RUBYRULEZ: {angry} Grrrr... Munchy...
{Cue opening credits}
{Cut to outside shot of Ruby's House. After music stops, cut to Ruby's Living Room. He is watching TV}
TV: And coming up, more TV that you don't care about. Stay Tuned!
RUBYRULEZ: I swear, TV has gone to hell.
{Canned Laughter}
RUBYRULEZ: Better check the fridge for some grub.
{Cut to the Kitchen. Ruby is looking inside an empty refridgerator}
RUBYRULEZ: Shoot, There's nothing!
RUBYRULEZ: Hmmm... But, there is one simple solution!
{Cut to an outside shot of the Cheap Junk Mart. Once the music stops, cut to an aisle inside the mart. Ruby is holding onto a can.}
RUBYRULEZ: Chicken Soup for the Soul brand name?
{Canned Laugter}
RUBYRULEZ: Had no idea this even existed!
{Cut to a shot of Rex.}
REX: Ruby!
{Ruby appears on screen. Rex starts walking toward him}
RUBYRULEZ: Well, you're a sight for sore eyes Rex!
REX: Can you imagine, it's been so long.
RUBYRULEZ: Since God darn High School!
REX: Yep
RUBYRULEZ: You still into those gadget {slowly} thinga...ma...jigs...Well, you know!
{Canned Laughter}
REX: Those Things?
{Canned Laughter}
RUBYRULEZ: Never mind, what the heck are you buying?
{Rex holds up a green box.}
REX: I've got a ton of junk food! Is that...?
{Rubyrulez hold up the red can}
RUBYRULEZ: Healthy Chicken Soup? Heck no! This is a can of Chocolate Syrup for the soul man!
{Canned Laughter}
REX: You still eat chicken soup?
RUBYRULEZ: I still do eat chocolate syrup...
{Canned Laughter}
RUBYRULEZ: Let's hang by my place and eat that junk!
REX: That would be "for real!"
RUBYRULEZ: Please, don't play cool...
{Canned Laughter}
{Cut to a white screen. A picture of Ruby's face, as well as the logo appears. Flashing rapidly on the bottom of the screen is "NOT GOING TO COMMERCIAL"}
RUBYRULEZ: Don't go anywhere, The Real Rubyrulez will be right back. And, while you're waiting, you can check out our website, which doesn't exist!
{Black screen}
{Cut to a shot of the outside of Ruby's house. After the music stops, the scene cuts to the Living Room. Ruby and Rex are on teh floor, near a table of snacks.}
REX: Whoa, too much sweets!
RUBYRULEZ: (sugar high) haha head spinning!
REX: That junk was awesome!
RUBYRULEZ: I still feel that sugar just...coursing through my body...
REX: Munchy does not know what he is missing...
RUBYRULEZ: Yeah, Munchy miss out...
REX: You know what, this is no different from all the regular times we got high...
{Rubyrulez's eyes widen}
{Canned Laughter}
RUBYRULEZ: What...regular times did we get high?
REX: You know, those other times when you knew this guy who sold weed over on 19th...
RUBYRULEZ: That guy was on 59th?
REX: Yep, and I remember the first time we visited him...
{The scene cuts to a flashback of Rubyrulez, about to purchase Pot from PotMan}
POTMAN: {Gruff Voiced} That'll be $55.95!
RUBYRULEZ: You got change for a hundred?
{Scene cuts back to the living room}
{Canned Laughter}
RUBYRULEZ: This is nothing like that!
REX: Foolish then, foolish now...
RUBYRULEZ: I suppose...hey, do we have any more chips?
REX: We do have that chocolate sauce...
{Rex grabs the can of Chicken Soup and starts to squeeze it.}
RUBYRULEZ: No Rex!
{The can explodes. Ruby and Rex are now covered in chicken soup}
{Canned Laughter}
RUBYRULEZ: Oops...

Goofs
- When Rex mentions PotMan, he says that he was on 19th street. Ruby confirms that the guy was on 59th
- This is because one of Rex's lines was misrecorded. The original line had Rex saying PotMan was on 59th, but the misrecorded line was left alone.
