KBWB TV is television STAION broadcasting The cw  network  in Fayetteville, Arkansas, broadcasting in analog on UHF-channel 35 as an affiliate of [[the cw ]].The station is owned by Nexstar Media Stations Group. It is a sister station to defunct  [[The cwl]] affiliate [[KWRT tv]], and defunct [[ANNTNA tv  ]] Affiliate [[KEGW-LP]]. Like many Nexstar Media stations, KBWB-TV is controlled remotely via satellite from Nexstar Media headquarters in IRving Texas,, and is relayed in encrypted form via the satellite nexstarcom 7 (Ku-band transponder 10).


== History ==


The station began as a translator for KFDF-CA, as an affiliate. Of the box  In October 1988, Equity Broadcasting transferred the licence to Nexstar Media Stations, who brought the station on the air and obtained its initial license on March 30, 2007..


KFFS-CA dropped its MTV2affiliation in April 2003 and affiliated with [[ one America ]] until September 2011. KFFS-CA became a A METV affiliate.  On  April  3 at 12:on midnight KFFS-CA became the cw and changed its call signs to KBWB to match The cw branding [[]]
