Not feeling that it was very urgent to go to work on this holiday, we overslept a little. John had the mill going but shortly after I came he left it all to me alone.

I had anticipated reading and at least sitting part of the day but as it happened the trade kept me stepping nearly all the time. I was glad for this for it kept time flying.

After supper a gust & storm came up. We went down home & saw some movies & ate a lot of good icecream & played flinch. It was one hour late when we got to bed.
