Our little baby got us awake quite early this morning & kept us awake by crying & crying. Neither of us had nearly enough sleep but had to get out anyway.

We were busy again at the office and it was a nice day, warm & almost fair.

Daddy Y. brought peaches home and Jane & I got a basket to put up. We did 'er after supper till bed time.

For Evelyn Jane's sake, I made a fire to drive away the dampness.
