I took the initiative this morning and as a direct result I was early for my chauffeur and co-commuter.

Things at the mill were about the same. I spent most of the day driving the little truck. In the afternoon I went into several farms I hadn't been into before.

I drove Groffie's Ford home. After supper I painted flower pots. Jane entertained Ruth Newwenger (our neighbor) and her Jerry. Uncle Ray came & visited a little. It was soon bedtime.
