I got up late, so I had to drive my nice new car to work to get there on time.

I buried myself in figures all day till I got "wozzie", making up for lost time.

We are surely tickled with our white sidewalled job. It's not a Buick like I had my heart set on but it's a bargain and it's sweet, plenty.

After supper, I got my hair cut. Daddy & Everett went to Lampeter Fair and wanted me to keep the office while they were gone. I got home early, 9:00, but now it's late, 10:30.
