HB Journal for Sep 17, 1940

From Brackbillwiki

Another red letter day has come to pass.

It started out just like any other day. It was foggy for the first time this fall, though. I spent most of my forenoon just chewing around with car salesmen, etc.

In the afternoon we buckled down to a little hard posting work again.

In the evening, Mother & Nancy kept the baby & entertained Bill Shee's wife, while Jane & I took a load over to the C.E. doggie roast at home. She & Val & I went on over to Hess's at N. Holland & bought a 1938 Olds. We had nice doggies & moon later.
