HB Journal for Oct 20, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
The world looked very much like fairyland this morning. Many of the leaves on trees have not even turned yellow or red but are yet green, but those that have or have not changed are now covered with snow, not a little but a nice thick coat. The sun came up nice & clear & made it complete.
I went to S.S. & Church, then I took my family over home for dinner etc. We boys carried on a good deal.
Then after supper I went to S.S. & Church. The baby cried later.
