HB Journal for Oct 16, 1940

Still another day, another great privilege just to live.

This is the day we have been looking forward to as the day of registration for Selective Service as they have been saying. Well I registered.

In the afternoon the Young family went to the Dairy Show. I have been caught up with my main work and am enjoying a change.

After supper I cleaned up & went up and had a nice talk with Jacob Landis. It was refreshing & helpful.
