I overslept and Jane got up and, like a good girl, made breakfast. Groffie came for me we went to the mill.

Things were mostly as per usual. It was hotter than it had ever been this yeaer nd we were thirsty all the time.

We got real busy in the afternoon but got finished in short order.

Nancy was here for supper. It was fine as usual and we ate much.

We went to Young People's Choir practice and had good results. Now we sit around and expect the gang to come and serenade us. Let's see.
