HB Journal for Mar 19, 1940

After a good night's sleep, it even then was no pleasure getting out of bed & getting started for the day.

We got through our work at the mill fairly well and got home again.

Jane has been sick all day. She went to work but didn't much. I brought her home when I came but had to make my own supper.

Mother Y. & children stayed here while I went to Church & Father. Rev. Davies preached a fine sermon & the church was nearly half full.

It was spring today & spring fever almost set in.
