HB Journal for Mar 18, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
I didn't have to worry about Groffie's horn blowing this morning because I drive this week. We were early all the same.
The weather was fitting for this time of year - warm, cloudy & misty.
We got a good bit of wheat into the mill today at a dollar ten a bushel.
About the middle of the afternoon we had to shut down and do a little repair work. I got greasy.
After supper, Jane ironed. I washed the dishes, then went down home and practiced typing a little while. It's early to bed for a change.
