HB Journal for Jun 30, 1939
From Brackbillwiki
Groffie didn't have to wait for me this morning again. That makes it nice.
We were surely in the midst of things at the mill today and it all totaled up in the high figures.
It was hot again--good harvest weather. Incidentally harvest is much earlier this year for many farmers have threshed already.
I carted the books home with me this evening.
After supper we went to a fake orchestra practice, and to a sparsely attended but quite worthwhile Preparatory service at Church.
