HB Journal for Jul 28, 1940

A fine day to be recorded. Of course, to begin with, it is Sunday.

We went to Sunday School & Church, even if it was hot. Mr. Kaufman preached for a change again.

Jane & I went over home for dinner. Then I put on my swimming suit & spent the P.M. in the creek & boating. It was nice.

No one showed up for C.E. so we visited down home till pretty late out in the yard.
