HB Journal for Jul 27, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
Everything O-Kay.
In the P.M. I gathered up a little Building fund loose ends.
We had a Guardian Service demonstration for supper. Ellis & Magdaline, Eun & Val, Mother, Nancy, & Everett. The wind cooled it off and upset our canary cage & he got out only we found him again.
Commentary
In the journal the words "Everything O-Kay" are set off by themselves, either because the entry was being written (like the prior day) several days later, or perhaps because something else happened that Herman chose not to write about.
From Evelyn Jarrett: I still have some pieces of the Guardian Service, and there were other pieces left in Aunt Marie's house. Stuff still going strong after 68 years!
