HB Journal for Jul 12, 1940

From Brackbillwiki

I got up rather sleepy this morning for it was too hot to have slept at all well.

Today the weather was swell for a change. It was drizzling & raining all day & made it very cool.

There was pretty much trade on the market today & we were pretty busy.

Gamber came in the afternoon & brought our Guardian Service which cost a lot of money.

After supper Jane took Nancy to a Guild doggie roast. I went down & worked & Harold & I had fun proving accounts in the ledger.
