HB Journal for Jul 11, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
Morning came too soon it seemed, for we anticipated another hot summer day. The weather man proved up to our expectations & we had a scorcher.
Things weren't too rushed and we had time to let the air from the fan blow over us.
After supper I got ready to go to choir practice. We had showers which cooled it off a little. Youngie went along with me & we visited Mrs. Kaufman before practice. We had nearly a full choir and a good rehearsal.
