HB Journal for Jan 9, 1939

From Brackbillwiki

I got up "seeing things" this morning; for I thought there was snow on the ground. However, it was just the moon shining. It was still moonlight when I got to the mill.

It was colder in the morning but turned out to be an ideal, actually perfect, day.

We were not extra busy and surely enjoyed the slack period. I shut the mill down for repair on the silks.

After supper Ross & the boys helped me cull my pullets. I sold my eggs and made the finish busier this day.
