HB Journal for Jan 8, 1939
From Brackbillwiki
Laying in bed seemd to be quite the proper way to start our "day of rest." It just wouldn't have seemed right to sleep forever, so I got up and hurried off to S.S. & church.
Jane came along home for dinner. Val & Eunice were here & played checkers. In the afternoon Jane & I went to Reba Plank's to a comittee meeting.
Uncle Ivan & Sensenig's came during the afternoon. We didn't visit much.
Mary Jane led C.E. & we had stereoptician slides at church in the evening. I got to bed real early (1:00 a.m.)
