Today seems just like a summary of the events of the week or just a cross section.

It was cold and we were busy at the mill. We got finished at noon, however, and Groffie and I tried out the ice. It was good.

When I got home I took a bath and washed my mealy head. Then I went to the store and sneaked down home.

After a soupy supper I beefed around, got ready to go get Harry then fell asleep on the chair. Two hours later I went to bed feeling bum.
