HB Journal for Jan 5, 1940

From Brackbillwiki

First draft

Cold again - snow flurries.
Busy again - done early.
Away again - preparatory service
At Youngs again - home earlier.

Final draft

Snow flurries darkened the horizon intermittently today with a low thermometer.

I shall display patience and write that we were busy again at the mill and I was busy as the rest of us.

Again after supper we went away. This time we were two among few. Many people are down with a funny kind of grippy cold and this accounts for so small a congregation at preparatory service.

We went down home afterwards again but came home earlier.
