"Why don't some body do something": I laid in bed overtime again this morning and got to work real late, yet John wasn't there yet and I "got away" with it.

We had plenty to do all day. The weather was nicer and it made working more pleasant. We could have finished in pretty good time but chose rather to prolong the activities and "not put off till tomorrow."

After work I got my oil changed. I didn't go away after supper for a good change. I wrote Shorty a letter and listened to the radio till bed time, which happened to be nine o'clock.
