HB Journal for Jan 21, 1940

From Brackbillwiki

We thought it was too cold to get up this morning but it wasn't. Jane put the chicken in the oven before we went to Sunday School. Mr. Kaufman's sermon was very fine.

Eunice & Val came along home for dinner. We ate our first meal on the new dining room suit and had walfels made on the new iron.

In the afternoon we went over home & skated a little. It was cold and rough. Dad is down with a bad cough.

We visited the U.B. Society for C.E. & afterwards went to Gap to hear the choir of the 1st Church of Lancaster.
