HB Journal for Feb 3, 1940

From Brackbillwiki

Jane deserved a rest this morning and so I got up and had most of the breakfast ready till she came down.

It was clear and windy today and slightly warmer making a nice day.

We had a nice going at the mill. We took it easy but got done till dinner.

In the afternoon Jane took Mamma & Nancy to town. I talked with "Pop" and killed two hens for tomorrow.

After supper Mamma & Nancy came up here and we got ready for tomorrow as well as enjoyed a little che__ and jelly aigs.
