HB Journal for Feb 26, 1940

I guess my wife is just getting lazy because this morning I made breakfast & packed nearly all my lunch. Possibly she is "breaking me in."

We had a full crew at the mill and plenty to do. Clyde Feister, the new substitute elect, was there along with all the rest.

After supper, I took the gang to County Chorus practice. We had a mighty fine rehearsal and a good business meeting.

It was late till we got home and so we prepared for bed immediately.
