HB Journal for Feb 24, 1940

From Brackbillwiki

We were just a trifle earlier this morning and it was a good thing we were because there was plenty to do at the mill. We worked plenty hard till dinner, then Morris quit and Groffie took his truck to town, leaving the finishing to Allen & me. We did it.

It was a nice day, warm but the sun didn't shine brightly.

After work I came home & we washed up & went over home to make icecream & have supper.

We spent a nice evening talking and listening to the radio.
