HB Journal for Feb 23, 1940

Early this morning we got awake, but then when it was time to get up we slept on for a half hour.

It was cold and a little cloudy but after it snoweded a little it cleared up.

We were busy at work and really got something done. We were all "aboard" working.

After supper I washed the dishes. Nancy & Mary came. Jane washed her head & curled her hair. Nancy & I played chess. I took the ladies home, went to the store, and came back again.
