HB Journal for Dec 5, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
The ground was pretty and white when we got up this morning and it was still snowing. It kept at it pretty steady and by dinnertime when it stopped there was nearly six inches down.
I had a better time at work today. I wasn't pressed so much.
After a good but quick supper & bath I went to choir practice. It was pretty poor. Then Everett & I went up to Reba's about the S. S. pageant. After we came home the baby cried because I wouldn't let her suck her thumb.
