HB Journal for Dec 4, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
Twas very cold this morning, down almost to zero in certain sections. It turned out to be quite a nice day with the sun shining nice all day long.
I was pretty rattled at the office today with Harold still absent. Jane went to Lancaster in the afternoon to shop for Betty's wedding.
We stayed down home for supper and played Finance all evening. It turned out pretty crooked but we had fun.
There were a couple blustery snow flurries later on in the evening.
