It was a regular winter morning, this was. After the usual morning chores and breakfast, I put on my rubbers and started out to meet Groffie.

At the mill we found quite a lot of work to do and finished up by putting gas in John Moore's Buick.

After a swell supper of fried mush, potatoes, & beans we got ready and went to Lancaster to a roller skating party at which 164 were present & we all had a very special swell time. While this was going on it was snowing outside to beat the band and coming home was treacherous to say the least.
