HB Journal for Dec 14, 1939

The snow was still visible this morning and it was cool or cold again.

We were quite late for work but nothing had started when we arrived. We weren't very rushed but we knew how to keep ourselves busy. Dick was with us.

We quit very early for a change and sat around a little and didn't come straight home.

After supper we went to a short little choir practice then came tearing home & waited in vain for Nancy, then went home.
