HB Journal for Dec 13, 1939

Dick was to stop for me about ten of seven this morning and that made me think I could lay in bed much longer. I wasn't ready when he came.

Jane took her mother & Eunice Christmas shopping.

We didn't work hard today. I went to the doctors after dinner & got my lip dressed. We got early.

It sleeted, rained, then snowed an inch or so. Now it is freezing.

After supper we went to prayer meeting then had a nice long choir rehearsal. We were tired but had quite a lot of fun.
