HB Journal for Apr 30, 1939

From Brackbillwiki

Short (that is, Harold) had to wake me this morning and yet we were late for our first discussion group at 9:00, fast time. After this discussion we went to the services in the (our) Church, Olivet. The sermon was preached by Park Hays Miller, very wonderful.

After dinner and discussion we skipped out of the closing service so Harold would be ready for Carter & the boys. Charlotte & I came home about 4:30, at home.

The Kaufman's were at Youngs' & I stayed for supper. The service tonight was a district joint at Strasburg, a debate.

We had a rowdy party at Romaine's featuring Mary Jane & the moon, but Jane was main attraction.
