HB Journal for May 27, 1940

From Brackbillwiki

We were poky again this morning but then the weather was just as cloudy as usual and so Jane didn't do the washing.

We both went down the office and I was good for there was much to be done and lots of customers.

After we came home and after we had supper, we hurried and went to Lancaster. We picked up a bent spike on Poorhouse Hill and that made a flat tire. We visited Ruth and then went to see Phil. He looked fine. Then we came home and visited down home a little.
