Today promised to fairly warm and clear and so Jane washed in the forenoon. I, of course, went to work.

We were pretty busy. The shop is full of threshers getting ready for the coming season.

Jane took Mother and some kids to Church for practice in the afternoon.

Nancy came up and was with us for supper. We brought mother up later and spent the evening looking around and talking. We returned our company and then went to bed.
