HB Journal for Oct 18, 1939

From Brackbillwiki

Morning comes again and with it a little more frost and bright cold fall weather.

Speaking of being busy at the mill, today we set a record for business this fall so far. We worked along steadily and after quitting time, Groffie took out a 2 1/2 ton load & delivered it.

After supper we went to a skinny prayer meeting. There were only nine at choir practice but we had a swell rehearsal.

It was earlier - 10:00, when we got home & warm & inviting.
