HB Journal for Oct 17, 1939

Up again late again. Groffie is driving again this week and we aren't getting there any too early.

We were quite as busy as ever all day & worked right along. In the forenoon I went to Reamstown. In the afternoon -- I was in the mill again.

After I got home I dug a few potatoes till it got dark. Then we ate a fine supper & washed, shaved & dressed up.

Six members of the board came and we had a successful board meeting.

It didn't break up till late & we retired sleepy & tired.
