We both got awake a little while before it was time to get up and we messed around a little. I got up then and Jane had to rest a little.

We were all tardy at the mill but weren't very busy. I couldn't find enough work to do in the office so had to put on my coats and shiver with the rest.

We had remnants of the chicken and wafels for supper. After that we went to a C.E. social and only a few - 14, were there. We had swell fun though, and every one was happy.
