HB Journal for Jan 23, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
We got awake early again for no reason at all but didn't get up early.
It was not the coldest morning but was the chilliest. I got real cold packing flour. We were all set to go places down stairs when I had to shut the mill down for repairs. It was finished and running by four oclock. We got home early - before dark even.
After supper we "loaded" Zimmy & Ethel and went to Middle Octoraro to a Young People's Forum. It was very educational as well as enjoyable. More should have been there. It was late when we got home.
