What shall I say? Shall I say, as I always do, that I didn't feel like getting up and that I ate a nice little breakfast, and that I walked down to Groff's & went along to the mill with Earl. I shall say it, even though you may be tired hearing it.

It was really hot today. Allen was off this afternoon and I was in his stead. When I came home, my shirt was absolutely soaking wet.

After supper we cleaned up and went to Kaufmans for 2 baskets of peaches. We then went to Eunice & Val's & drove with them to Marksbury's & stayed a little.
