HB Journal for Aug 10, 1939
From Brackbillwiki
Unloosing myself from a prevailing dream, I found I had not slept too soundly and that I would have to go to work in not the best of condition.
Regardless of my condition we were all put through our paces and stretched out at the mill. I was very tired by nightfall.
Jane's games committee met at our house in the evening. Harry was here for the first time for him. Everything went off O.K.
After that "Bud" Troop called me over & Jane gave us about 2 qt of icecream, fresh peach, and, of course, we ate it.
