Lysa Tully
From Asoiaf
Lysa of House Tully is the second daughter of Hoster Tully, Lord of Riverrun and Lady Minisa of House Whent. She is the widow of Jon Arryn, Lord of the Eyrie. They had a single son, Robert.
Her mother died in childbed.
282 AL Lysa married Jon Arryn, Lord of the Eyrie at Riverrun. Her sister Catelyn married Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell.
Jon fell ill and died after a short while. Unable to save him, Grand Maester Pycelle gave Jon milk of the poppy to ease the pain. Tywin Lannister, Lord of Casterly Rock accepted to take Robert Arryn, Lord of the Eyrie as his ward, but was refused by Lady Lysa. She and Robert then left King's Landing in the middle of the night without a word. Cersei was furious.
Lysa travelled home to the Eyrie with her son Robert.
Lysa Arryn sent a message to her sister Catelyn written in a secret language they had made when they were little. In the message she says that Jon Arryn was murdered by the queen and the Lannisters. The message was delivered to Winterfell beneath a false bottom in a box containing a lens of Myr.
