Dream Facts (non ASMB related junk)
- Birthday March 19, 1990
- Is a music junkie. Very big on Classic Rock, Progressive, and Metal genres
- Used to be a pretty big video game junkie, but since college I've been into anime a lot more so than games. I Currently own a PS2, a Wii, and a 360
- Is a pool shark, I'll whip anyone any day of the week ;)
- Huge baseball fan. I'll talk to just about anyone about it for hours.
The ASMB Early Days
Dream first joined the ASMB in January 06. Adult Swim had just moved all of its anime premiers from Saturdays to weeknights at 1am. Being a sophomore in high school at the time, Dream could no longer watch the premiers due to the times that they aired, and he needed to vent. For the first few months Dream didn't post much, he had seen little anime at this point and could no longer watch premiers so there was not much for him to discuss. He also had dial up internet so getting on line in general was a pain in the ass. Most of these early months were more than likely filled with seldom posts and most of them probably very n00b like in nature
The Beginning of the Legacy and the Formation of Gunsmoke
In around April 2006 was when Dream's posting career really started and took off. This was back when AD was ruled by fanclubs. At this point in time Dream became very good friends with the poster Evangelion_Unit_01 and Kagomes_Luver2789. Together the 3 of them ruled a good portion of AD's fanclubs (sorta I guess). Their main stomping grounds were the New Inuyasha Fanclub that KL made (yup Dream was an Inuyasha fanboy at a point) and The Evangelion Nerd Club. One day E_U_1, took it upon himself to unite the 5 or so Trigun character threads floating around in AD into one fanclub Gunsmoke Inc. It was their that Dream meet fellow posters such as Furion, EdSpikeSesshyGirl, Shatter1313, BPuppy1, Odun, and 12ozmousesucks...
The Naruto Fanclub
Around the same time as Gunsmoke's birth in AD, Dream created a Naruto Fanclub in OA, it was their where he meet FalchBurns and Fullmetaltar. The three of them became great friends and ruled the fanclub with an iron first, even it was mainly a giant spam fest. the trio remained great friends for around a year or so and the fanclub ended up having 4 continuation threads...but more on that later
note:this probably really didn't deserve its on section, but eh, it was a pretty big part of my early posting days, and how could I not give my first encounter with Falch its own section?
The Glory Days
By around May and June of 06 Dream really started to hit is posting prime. He was a regular in Gunsmoke and in the Eva Nerd Club. the Gunsmoke gang became his first AS "family" and the Eva Nerd Club was great for both amazing spam and good discussion. Yes the summer of 06 was truly a great summer, posts were plentiful, friends were always on, and Dream was finally broadening his horizons outside of fanclub threads and venturing into the rest of AD. It was also around this time Dream became a rabid Asuka fan. I'm sure quick a few whacky and highly fanboy influenced threads were made about Asuka and Evangelion in general, but I've long since forgotten
The Decline of Gunsmoke
Around the winter of 06 Gunsmoke was on the decline, the discussion was pretty much worn out at this point, and most of the members had left the boards, along with a lot of other 06 alumini that Dream posted with. Later on in the spring of 07 the naruto fanclub pretty much had suffered the same fate...I have no idea how i want to end this section...I'll work on it later =/
The Forgotten Year
Most of 2007 had nothing notable happening in it. Dream mainly hung around in AD simply discussing shows, occasionally spamming, and pretty much being just an all around average poster. In late 07 Dream became an active memember in both the Naruto Rants thread and Naruto Toonami discssion thread and. These threads became his new home and the posters that dwelled in their became his second AS "family". I could prolly elaborate but won't since i'm getting pretty board with this...
Elim Master Dream
Dream had always been a pretty avid AD elim voter, but in later 2007 he made the transition from voter to AD's king of eliminations. Dream's first elimination was the Grande Character Elimination which spanned over the course of 40 threads, a shit ton of posts, and 6 months. To date it is the still the longest Elimination ever run in AD. From there Dream ran 5 more elims from 2008 until the present.
The New Age Pt. 1
In late 2008 Dream was getting pretty bored with the ASMB in general and had pretty much resorted to spamming AD nightly to keep himself entertained. It was at this time when he joined up with J-Dubb, Cidthekittyisfun, MoonGoddess17, Zewz, and ProudTelevisionAddict. This was and currently still is Dream's 3rd AS "family". Good Times were had, several awesome spam threads were made...yada yada. The main crowning achievement from this group of spammers was taking total control of the Code Geass folder one night and absolutely littering it with spam.
The New Age Pt. 2
Dun remember really what happended, but AD got really lame so most of the group left the ASMB and Dream ventured over into OA, where he currently mainly posts now. Justice and MDogg are his main buds over there...O and I guess I guess I should mention Curz in this whole thing...he was like my mentor at some point in this whole 4 year history...
